Man has been extinct for a long time. In the year 2036 World War III broke out lasting for fourty years, and killing three fourths of the human population directly. The survivors all died of disease, starvation, or natural disasters. Many animals died as well. For fifty years the world was a horrible, sick, scarred place. Many different kinds of animals are extinct, such as lions, wolves, many kinds of birds, elephants, giraffes, crocadiles, alligators, snakes, fish, pandas, tigers and many, many more.
But one species has managed to thrive. Horse-kind has survived this whole thing, living on an undiscovered continent by Figi. All the wild-life and nature has been preserved on this medium sized continent with beautiful weather all year round. These horses have never been touched by the human legacy and they know nothing about them or their existance, so it doesn't really matter that they are extinct, yet strangely these horses have the same exact knowledge as humans. They are just as smart, witty, courageous, and they speak just as well.
The only thing that's not placid about this paradise is that in the exact year WWIII started, they had their own war. It started out with the King and Queen of Thunderia and their three sons. One son in particular was quite a bit of a kiss-up and always sucked up to his parents. The other two sons had their own ideas and beliefs and were much more independant. Soon, their father and mother became old and weak, so their father decided he needed to hand down the throne to his most well-trusted son. The King gave his kingdom to the kiss-up, and the other two sons became enraged.
Being as mad as they were they both decided to start their own kingdoms, and they gathered the people who shared their beliefs, therefore splitting the kingdom of Thunderia into three seperate kingdoms. Thunderia, Zidenjanen, and Apanakyou. None of the brothers were evil, they just were purely selfish and each wanted their way, or no way. And obviously not everyone can have their own way.
All three kingdoms were constantly at war, all three losing most of their population to casualties, fatal wounds, or MIAs. Soon the peasants became sick and tired of losing their families and friends, so they all met at the border and all agreed to have an up rising and kill all three Monarchs. And their plan was successful--but not without serious casualties. Too many died and the uprisings resulted in leaving all three kingdoms in ruins.
No one wanted to have kingdoms ever again, so they all created lands--but in the domains of the old kingdoms. The beliefs of the three stallions were not forgotten and division still remains prominent in the continent. So prominent that to this day there are the Thunderian Lands, the Zidenjian Lands, and the Apanakyouan Lands.
Which will you be a part of?
